Avidyne IFD4-Series FMS/GPS/NAV/COM sets a new standard for integration in aviation navigation systems.

Designed for the rigorous demands of military and special-mission aircraft. The IFD4-Series flight management system provides VHF COM/NAV tuning via wired Cross-sync interface allowing tandem control of VHF communication and navigationas well as hybrid touch, flight glove compatibility.

The IFD4-Series GPS Navigators were designed with real world flying conditions in mind. Every detail and function of the IFD4-Series is engineered with purpose: to make flying simple, safe and more enjoyable.

Wireless Connectivity

All Avidyne IFD4-Series systems include integrated WiFi and Bluetooth® connectivity. Numerous tablet application developers support the Avidyne IFD4-Series wireless protocol. Foreflight® and many other apps are capable of receiving GPS position, ADS-B weather and traffic, XM Weather, and other data from the IFD4-Series system. Integrated wireless connectivity allows pilots to transfer flight plans from tablet Apps including ForeFlight®.

Imagine being able to plan a flight, file a flight plan, get a clearance, and transfer the flight plan to your FMS, seamlessly. And all IFD4-Series systems have a built-in USB charger so you can insure your devices have adequate battery levels.
